Thank you ( and on an OT , definitely ot , note, I do wonder what the bump
would be passing from a single pa-risc to 2 in an hp c8000, since you
mention it was noticeable in the 2500 )

I would suggest that the SB2500 is worth going for. The SCSI system is
faster and more robust than the IDE used by Sun. Once they got to SATA on
the Ultra 45 it's worth using those drives but not the earlier ones.

IME and all that. Your mileage will vary, etc.  :)

One thing I will mention is that it was a much bigger performance bump
dropping the second CPU in than I expected.
