[rescue] Anyone build this kit?

OK, Thanks for the update.  You will like the pidp11 - I built that some
time ago and I use SimH to develop code and then move it over to my 11/34
or 73 and visa versa.   The sim is very good imho. Been Using both simh
and  ersatz-11 it for maybe 10+ years(?).   Will keep you entertained for
hrs...lol   Unfortunately I've been sooo busy with work that haven't turned
on any of the big iron machines in many many months.

I don't have the 8, I have two 8Es with the blinkin lights, at probably
1000x the power usage.lol
My (very) part time hobby is developing a 11/70 simulator on a FPGA...when
done, it will replace the RPi.
