Last year, I wrote a pair of guides on how to netboot SunOS 4.0.3 and
SunOS 4.1. From there, you can use suninstall to install to the local hard
disk. You can then copy the .tar.Z files to somewhere in the netbooted
root and use the local directory option for the distribution.

This gives you a bit more freedom than the miniroot install. For bonus
points, you could do a find | cpio and dump it to the local disk and then
run installboot.
