[rescue] Sun Ultra 60> 2 Gb Memory ?

Aside from curiosity, which I fully support, is there a reason to try and force a U60 to have greater than 2 GB of RAM? All the OS choices and applications I'm aware of for that machine happily run in 2 GB or less. I know today $50 Raspberry Pis have 4 Gigs of RAM and quad GHz CPUs, but do the Solaris distributions that the U60 supports benefit from more RAM?

I think you'd be better served focusing your energy on 'collecting' an UltraSPARC box built to accommodate more RAM (and faster drives & CPUs), but that's just my opinion.
