[rescue] Sun Blade 2500 Beige?

All,

I recently picked up a Sun Blade 2500 with beige case plastics. It appears
to be a dual 1.28GHz 2500 that would normally be red, but I assume that it
was made for a large customer order.

Does anyone know the differences between the Blade 2500 red and silver
motherboards? The system handbook specifies that each supports different
processors, but given Sun, I’m wondering if they are substantially
identical, and were just listed differently with different CPUs installed,
as they became available.

Comparing the documentation doesn’t make it obvious.

Also, I have a Sun Blade 1500 Red chassis available, with no internals, if
anyone would like it. I’m in Maryland, USA.
