[rescue] SS1000E Solaris support?

Is there an architectural difference between the 1000 and 1000E ?  

Both were "sun4d" if I remember. This would logically have Solaris 8 as the last release.

Solaris is that will run (not "is supported", but "will run") on a 
SPARCserver-1000E (sun4d) machine?
