Giving a copy to Mike for his collection would probably be great, 
and I'd be interested too, even though I don't assume using an 
older driver will solve my problem. 

During my search I'd seen mentioned somewhere (that I currently 
can't seem to track down again) that the difference between 4.3, 
4.5, 4.6 was basically the driver file itself, with all other 
components unchanged.
