    The Sun Hardware FAQ suggests that you can use a Type 4 keyboard and mouse 
by making a cable adapter:

    It lists the pinouts of the Type 3 and Type 4 connectors on the CPU side. 
DIN-8 connectors are a pain to work with, so do most of the jumpers on the 
DA-15 side.
