[rescue] sad news

I remember going to Sullivans's steakhouse and having a big table full of
Unix geeks there, with Dave, Mike and myself along with others being there.

I once bought an SS1000 (long gone) from Mike and paid using the then-novel
method of PayPal.

I remember ssh-ing into my Opteron based (I think) system remotely and
showing him how quickly I could compile something from ports. Still not as
fast as the big Alphas he played with!

He was a good guy, and I am sad he is gone. Condolences to his family, and
his friends.

RIP Mike...
