[rescue] off-topic but advice needed for the involuntary hardware upgrade for Win 11? -what I did.

The effect is different, non-Win11 compliant systems are getting cheaper. There are too many compliant Win11 machines for the prices to rise.

To be honest, new Win 11 machines are pretty cheap, until you head into Gaming/(Engineering) Workstation systems.
