Indeed, they are super nice little machines! My first UltraSPARC was a Netra T1, an eBay dot-com fallout acquisition in the early 2000s, bought sight unseen because eBay didn't have free pictures :P The rack rails are somewhat uncommon and IMO pretty not great, better off sitting it on a rack shelf if you don't get rails with it.
I ran these way past EOL as high security OpenBSD routers, even had the bare CPCI SBC version in a Marathon 3U half-depth CPCI rack with dual redundant PSUs and a triple SCA hot swap rack. Paired with a four-port Ethernet card (quad Sun HME in the T1, or one of the industrial offerings in CPCI) and/or a gigabit Ethernet board, they made for compact, fairly efficient, non-x86 routers. You could run a pair of SCSI disks in software RAID 1 for better uptime, too.
