Hello,
I saved a Panasonic CF-150B Laptop from scrapping decades ago. Because the lead-acid battery was dead, I disconnected it internally and the machine has worked for some time until I put it into storage.

Last year, I took it out again, applied power as noted and nothing happened. A closer look revealed that there are some soldered fuses on the board, all of them blown but one. Replacing them and measuring power dissipation revealed just a spike because of charging the caps and then just some mA.
The board is relatively tiny, multi-layer and has some circuitry dedicated to convert the input voltage of nominal 7.5V to the needed ones.
Anyone has experiences repairing this gem? I'm more used to repair valve equipped radio sets from much earlier. :-)
:wq! PoC
