[rescue] SCSI Replacements

this thread has been an informative read. I do think Dave is right on this one now that I think about it. I too thought they were emulators since I routinely see people replace SCSI’s and my mind just made the connection of “no spinning platters = emulator” and didn’t put much thought into it other than that.

Also I lumped them into the same category as those floppy disk emulators, but those definitely ARE emulators since you are emulating the physical media, whereas SCSI is just the interface.
