Yeah it's highway robbery. I'm going to try suggesting a more reasonable
price.
Yes the box doesn't seem functional right now, a couple of CPU boards in
there.
Maybe helps offset the cost a bit. Hopefully if something went south it's
repairable given the vintage, I've had success with 3/60 resurrection.

RE: location, I'm in California and didn't have any travel scheduled but I
have family in Michigan and I'll definitely end up doing a trip there by
end of year.
