The chipped piece fit very tightly, so I just used Xylene on a find
modelers brush and let capillary action draw the adhesive in.

Well set within a minute, and very strong after 20 minutes or so.

I also then tried on an Ultra 1 case that had some cracks on the side
vents, and it worked great there as well.

If things fit tightly, this seems to do the trick, at least for whatever
plastic Sun used in their cases.

Xylene is available at most hardware or home improvement stores, and a
pint or so (which is _way_ more than you need) is $4-$5.
JB
Weld stuff, but specifically the plastic bonder. It's a structural
epoxy.

style="color:#909AA4;margin-left:24px;margin-right:24px;">I've come
across a nice little Sparcstation 1+ but it has some pieces of
the top case that have broken off - before I got it :-)

Luckily, I have the pieces and so I'd like to glue them back on to
improve the cosmetics as best I can.

I've had recommendations to use either MEK or Xylene as they will
create
a better bond by "melting/welding" the pieces together, as opposed to
something like superglue.

If anyone has words of wisdom or experience to share, please pass it
along!
Thanks,
