                    Sure. I have a Xyplex MaxServer that boots off a CF
                    card and does LAT<br>
                    and TCP/IP with no licenses needed. The user
                    interface is just like a<br>
                    DECserver, which makes sense as the people that
                    founded Xyplex were<br>
                    all DEC employees.<br>

                    Cisco terminal servers can also do LAT and TCP/IP.<br>

                    Unix? Some of them did both LAT and TCP/IP from
                    memory, though I may be mistaken.<br>

                  Those terminal servers are fantastic, but that
                  approach would require LAT on the PDP-11.  That's
                  possible, but not with any of the UNIX implementations
                  that Steve is considering.
