<div dir="auto">Agree. I'm also running SunOS on all my Sun3s. Runs great on my 3/60 and 3/50. Easy and well documented installation procedures. The remote CD install was quite handy too assuming you have the the latest Boot ROM. I tried NetBSD on my 3/80 and it was painfully slow. The install instructions were absolutely horrible for that architecture from what I recall.<br><br><div data-smartmail="gmail_signature">-Kurt</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Sun, Nov 12, 2023, 10:26 Dan Moisa via rescue <<a href="mailto:rescue@sunhelp.org">rescue@sunhelp.org</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="auto">Really recommend running vintage on this machine </div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Sun, Nov 12, 2023, 10:22 Cameron Kelly via rescue <<a href="mailto:rescue@sunhelp.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">rescue@sunhelp.org</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">>What OS do you intend to run on it ? I'm not sure. Preferably both but I'm biased towards NetBSD since it's<br>
easy to get a modern Unix environment going with package management<br>
and whatever else going.<br>
