<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I can't remember which machine, but I did have some strange behavior that seemed to resolve when I added a new battery to the IDPROM chip. If you haven't done one, it is easier than it looks. You have to just determine the correct side, then I use a burr bit on a dremel and solder on a coin cell holder which I then hotglue to the top of the IDPROM chip. I've done a couple in the past few months and it takes me ~5min to add a battery now.</div>

<div dir="ltr">Yeah, I stopped burning the CD\u2019s as I got exactly the same situation with both images on the Zulu and actual CD\u2019s.  It something about that \u201cdefault device instance data\u201d but I can\u2019t really even find any description of what that ACTUALLY even means.  All the references I found were related to IDPROM so wiped it and reprogrammed it but with no luck.  Im kind of thinking about getting a new chip (or an old one and attaching a battery) and starting from there.  Perhaps NetBSD ignores all that and there is something whack about the one I have.<br clear="none" />
