That's a great find! I had never heard of that model either.<br>
<br>
Years before your arrival at Digex, we deployed hundreds of Axil <br>
systems, 245s (SPARCstation-5 clones) and 320s (SPARCstation-20 clones). <br>
We had one early Axil 420 (modified SS20). They were all wonderful <br>
machines in every way.<br>
<br>
I don't know where that Axil 420 went; I've been looking for it for <br>
years. None of the early Digexers will own up to having it, but it had <br>
to have gone somewhere.<br>

Cool! I once had an Axil; I think mine was a clone of the SS2.<br>
Apparently they cloned a bunch of different models....<br>
<br>
Not sure what happened to mine. I suspect I gave it away. I've been<br>
trying to shed hardware recently, and early-gen SPARCs would be low<br>
priority for keeping.<br>
