If I recall it cares about both the OS and the Apple CLI dev tools<br>
release. It was a pain if you weren't on current, it was also a pain<br>
if you upgraded or needed to hold either. I used to have a couple of<br>
Macs and maintained several ports but no longer do so I don't know if<br>
this has gotten better.<br>
