E3000 with multiple CPU boards.

I have three CPU boards but the RAM I have on hand (some 32MB and some
128MB SIMMs) aren't enough to fill bank 0 across all three boards.

I could fill bank 0 across two boards, and fill bank 1 across two
boards, but can I run the third CPU board with no RAM in it, or does at
least bank 1 have to have RAM? I assume that bank 0 on the third board
would have to be the same size as what's in bank 1 of board 1 and 2.

To put it another way, I have 16 128M sticks, so I can fill bank 0 of
boards 1 and 2, and I have 16 32MB sticks, so I can do the second bank
of boards 1 and 2, but I don't have enough of either to also fill bank 0
of board 3. Can board 3 function without RAM in it, or do I have to fill
at least all of bank 0 across all three boards?

I've been looking through various Sun doc and I can't (yet) find a
definite answer. My gut tells me I have to cross all three boards with
at least bank 0.

Anyone have some cheap SIMMs? Or maybe I should just be happy with two
boards and not try to pimp up a machine that is more a labor of love
than anything else :-)

Thanks,
