[SPARCbook] Does Solaris 8 work on a 3GX?

Ask the guy at www.tktech.com nicely, he hooked me up with shrink-wrapped 
Solaris 2.6 5/98 media (the whole works) for about $100, a bit less IIRC.  
Booted fine off my external Panasonic 4x SCSI CD-ROM drive.
