Fortunately SCSI disks are getting pretty cheap themselves.
Whoever said the disk was the bottleneck was right... the 
3GX really comes alive if you hang an external 10K RPM
SCSI disk on it... all of a sudden feels more like using
an SS5 or SS20 than what you are used to.  I've been using
an IBM U160 in one of my kiosks and will do the rest that
way now that I see how fast that one goes.
