Try
boot -s
at the prompt - correct?
It should come up - hit return to continue or enter root password for
maintenance...

Subject: [Sunhelp] Problem with init S
Hoi
I'm a newbie on this platform, spare me.
I wont to backup my system with ufsdump. Therefor I wont to go in
Single-User mode.
When I wont to Single-User mode with init s, the system start after
a couple
of seconds the GUI logon.
What is wrong?
How can see in which mode I'm in?
Thanks in advance,
Greetings Miguel
