[Sunhelp] backup on sunos4.1.3

I wrote a script that included the:
dump 0ubf 126 /dev/nrst8 /
.
.

and after each filesystem backup it says it is rewinding.
How can make sure that after the backup of "/" ands so on
it is not rewinding. Do you know how i can look at the contents
of the tape after backup?.
