[Sunhelp] Sun 411 CD-ROM: passive or active termination?

Hi,

I broke down and bought a Sun/Sony CD-ROM in a 411 enclosure,
and thankfully the SS10 now installs without a hitch.  I had
to buy some SCSI cables at a local electronics shop after it
arrived and the sales guy asked me whether I needed passive
or active termination.  I had no idea, and I took his word
that the drive probably uses active termination.  Does it
matter which I use?
