[Sunhelp] dtlogin and bash problems

Anyone know of a way to have the x startup/dtlogin startup files use a 
different shell than the user's login shell? For example, on alternate 
window managers, like blackbox or xfce, using bash will kill the xserver 
when it attempts to load. The scripts only work with /bin/sh. Any hints?
