Put the following in /etc/system file:
pty_cnt=128 (or whatever number you want)
Then, reboot.

Subject: [SunHELP] I run out of ptys
Dear all,
I run out of ptys on a 1Gb-RAM U2 with Sol7.
When I understand the docu correctly, there
is no hard limit on the number of ptys
available. During the bootup memory space is
allocated for the ptys (a few kb per pty),
only dependent on the total amount of RAM
the computer has. With one Gb I should not
run in any of this. What's wrong with my
understanding?
Anybody any ideas please.
Thanks,
Wolfgang
