[Sunhelp] Linker errors

Hi. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to
compile TCP/IP applications using gcc? I get the
following errors:
Undefined                       first referenced
 symbol                             in file
socket                             
/var/tmp/ccEmV8Zm.o
inet_pton                          
/var/tmp/ccEmV8Zm.o
connect                            
/var/tmp/ccEmV8Zm.o
It looks like the linker cannot find the right
library. I might be wrong about this. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.   Thank you.
