[Sunhelp] Solaris 8 and supp. software?

Hi, I recently added some of the supplemental packages from the Solaris
8 CD's. Seems these install into /opt/sfw, I've got
things like gcc, libraries etc all installed in /opt/sfw.

Whats the next stage to get these properly configured? Is it just a case
of adding the necessary paths to $PATH $LD_LIBRARY_PATH etc?
Or am I missing something?
