Brian:
	Check out what 'echo $shell' returns when using tcsh. I got
this problem with some previous releases of tcsh. Whereas the shell
was meant to be installed under /bin, the string was set to
/usr/local/bin/tcsh by configure. In this case, I had to place the
fake path in /etc/shells
