No, they're available with either the plain serial interface for
use on older Sun platforms or with USB for the new Sun platforms.

Yes, there are Type 6 USB keyboards, this message is being composed
on one which is plugged into a Sun Blade 1000:

Just on the newer ones.  But you can use the non-USB Type 6 on the older
ones.
