Hi,
There is no defined path for checkig this kind of situvation.
But will try ..
first you should fine whther its b'cos of CPU ,IO or network.
use /usr/ucb/ps -aux and check first few entries.
Then you have to figure out whther its b'cos of a system process or a user
process.
vmstat 2 10
Check first 5 and last 6 columns.( also sr field)
you can also use ( When the system goes slow)
iostat -nx 2
netstat -a
sar 2 10
mpstat 2 10
if you can send some sample out puts I may able to check whats wrong.
