First, is it possible to add options to an nfs mount on the "fly". i.e I 
have a ro nfs mount, can I make it rw (the server gives permission) without 
umounting or doing an overlay? Just curious if there is a trick out there I 
don't know about.

Here is why. I have a netapp acting weird, not allowing me to mount a 
filesystem rw even though it is supposed to be exporting rw, this machine 
should have -root allowed also. It seems I can only mount ro. I have a 
service ticket in with NetApp, but thought I'd ask in case anyone has had 
similar experiences.
