[SunHELP] rpc.lockd fails

Hi

   I mount a shared solaris partition on linux client. On the linux client,
it works all  right. The rpc.statd is able to run on linux (kernel 2.4) but
rpc.lockd fails with the message "Invalid argument". The user has not had
any file corruption yet but is there a solution to it?
