Hi faisal
You may want to try fuser -ck /mount-point.
This will force whoever is accessing the partition to umount.The reason why
you are unable to umount is,the device is getting accessed.
Try a man on fuser and find out more options in it.

Hello i am facing a problem here when i mount a partition it mounts
successfully but when i try to umount it it say mount busy operation not
aplicable ....
help me out
Also i am unable to create home directories for my users
even admin tool in CDE is unable to do so
i belive it have something to do with automount right ?
how can i correct it ?
