Are you sure it wasn't an SS10BSX, an SS10-like machine with the SMC 
memory controller which allowed cg14 VSIMMs to be used?

Kodiak (SS20) first booted "all the way" on June 25, 1993. That
being the case it wouldn't have FCS'd before December of that year.
