[SunHELP] Toshiba XM-3401: What can it do?

I'm holding in my hands a Toshiba XM-3401BMA Caddy-style CD-ROM. I'd like
to know what it can and can't do, like rip CD-DA, speed (how many x?), and
so on from those with firsthand experience. It's a pull from an IBM
system.
