My wife was at the bank this morning when a nervous-looking ~20 yr old kid
walks in and asks a teller if she can exchange foreign cash for American
cash. She said they can handle only Canadian currency (this is in Northern
New Hampshire), but that was all. The kid says "oh, thanks" and walks out.

He walked right back in with two other ~20ish kids and they ask who else can
exchange currency. When asked how much, they said $39,000.00!

My wife didn't catch the nationality of the cash because her teller was
yapping, but she noticed that they all looked like "kids next door
boyscouts" with American accents. She couldn't believe that the teller
didn't think this was strange. Being this close to the Canadian border, I
would be (and am) suspicious.
