i'd looked at the radiant cooktops for awhile but it's drawback came down
to the sheer cost of installing a separate 220 line all the way to the
kitchen and the price of electricity here/ it woulda been a pain in the
ass. the thermador line is nice, no question. i've gotten too used to a
gas rangetop/oven, though. i'd like dual fuel (electric oven, i've found
the gas we get leaves a slight taste), but the expense is prohibitive :(
i have a paranoid fear about radiant cooktops here...3 cats who like to
get on the stove=fried kittyfeet.
