Hungarian food rocks!... have you ever had the goose-fat spread?
One of my favorites was a simple poppy-seed pasta with raspberry jelly
(just a teensy bit) mixed in. One of my best friends in HS was
Hungarian and I'd always enjoyed his mom's cooking... as well as the
fact that my dad's mom was also Hungarian. I love cooking Hungarian
food... Hot paprika is great stuff.
The four Hungarian cooking staples : Sour Cream, Onions, Paprika, and
Bacon drippings...

Hungarian food is great because my friend always called it peasant food,
but it was some of the most filling comfort food you could get.
A countess once said the Englishman lives like a king but eats like a
pig, while the Hungarian lives like a pig but eats like a king... this
is an excerpt from my Hungarian cookbook.
