I've been using Solaris/Apache/MySQL/Perl/PHP/etc on ohno.mrbill.net for
years.  I think the system history goes something like:

SPARC Classic
SS5/170
U1/140
Ultra AXe
Ultra AXi
Ultra 5
E3000
E420R (current)
T1000 (in process of migrating)

Never had a problem.
