Have you considered booting a new enough version of Solaris i386pc to
access the pool on the existing system?

I would also hope that you can do a `zfs send` from the size accessing
the data to a `zfs receive` on the side where you want the data to be
stored.  (Hopefully you have enough storage capacity to temporarily
duplicate the pool.)
