Thank you everyone for much of responses. I noticed that there was not much discussions as to the SSB100. Anyway, I am running development on four different programs for ecommerce projects. I tried them on a 2 U10 machines and end up loading the thing up to its max (2 scsi pci for HD, >500MB of RAM etc.). On top of that I have to switch drives all the time to run different part of development. Unfortunately, all of the apps are running on sparc sol 7. In addition, I am setting up different instances of database with massive amount of data.

As for the SB100, It looks like I will need at least 18GB of storage and about >200MB to running these memory hungry apps. The advanvantage here is that I can have different IP of different machines and not to switch HD all the time (I am using both 411 and 911 boxes for this).

As far as expandability, I may need to add sunpci card later, other than that I ssh to the machine most of the time using VT200 from a single intel box.

Again thanks for your inputs.

Paul
