That's the non-echoing password prompt.  If you haven't set a password, it
should be the default of "access".  Type that, and the console port should
be connected, though you won't see any messages...the connection will just
start suddenly working.

You can disable passwords on that port by using the command "define port 4
password disabled" and then rebooting the box with "init delay 0".
