  I have to agree here.  My biggest problem with most modern mice is
that they seem cheap and flimsy.  You know...the plastic parts that
are too thin and don't fit together very well, so if you pick them up
and squeeze them even slightly they make crinkling or crackling
sounds.  I *hate* that cheap feeling.

  Yes speeding them up is a VERY nice improvement.  At first I was
skeptical; I figured the pointer tracking bottlenecks were really in
the X server...but when I tried it for the first time I was amazed.
