Depends. If the SGI tube has BNC inputs and you have a Sun BNC cable it
should work. If machine and tube are 13W3 then you may get no picture.
The problem here is a different pinout Sun <=> SGI for the 10 extra pins
in the 13W3 connector. You should get around this with a custom cable.
Connect the CSync signal from the Sun via an 560 Ohm resistor to the
green signal to generate sync on green. Connect only R, G+Sync and B
signals to the SGI monitor.
