The 'queues for inspection' may be a significant problem (if you get 'picked', how long is the queue? 24 hrs?), and rather too close to home: I will very soon have to organise shipping an Enterprise 6000 across at least one sea, possibly two. to Germany

The basis for my confusion seems to be that the reality of the EU may not be
as it was originally described over here. I'm not trying to be political (it
has no place here), but in the US this wouldn't seem to be nearly as big a
challenge.
