I don't.  It's been much, much too long since I tried to use 4.1.1; if
I had kernel source I might be able to do something with the stack
trace, but I don't.

Personally, I would try NetBSD/sun3 (an old version, since current
versions, if they support the sun3 at all, will be ridiculously bloated
monstrosities), in an attempt to determine where the problem is.

I can help you if you want to try the NetBSD route.  The headers of
your list mail look as though you probably can get mail to me directly;
if you try and it fails, it may work to try mouse at netbsd.org.
