Anyone who has a soldered-on PRAM battery owes it to themselves to *at least*
clip the leads and get it out of there. I've got an SE/30 sitting on the shelf
because its battery exploded... that gunk sat on there so long that a pair of
ICs and a crystal just fell right off with a little gentle toothbrush
scrubbing. Luckily I got to the *other* SE/30 before its battery blew up. I
swapped in a CR2016 holder with long leads so I can change the battery without
having to take the motherboard out (a knuckle-busting process).
